As the first step in the long-term care continuum, senior community centers perform a valuable service oftentimes by delaying the need for more intensive services and acting as a safety net for those seniors who become more frail.
Senior Employment:
Provides older adults part-time and full-time employment opportunities with local public and private employers.
Transportation Services:
Provides transportation services to individuals aged 60-64 to a senior center near their home or to adult day care at no cost.
